What We Do

Waterkeepers Bangladesh complies with the approved regional naming convention determined by the Waterkeeper Alliance. It advocates for compliance with and enforcement of environmental laws, including the use of litigation and administrative challenges against polluters by Waterkeeper members in appropriate circumstances. Waterkeepers Bangladesh develops and implements regional campaigns and initiatives. It organizes media campaigns to protect the water and water bodies in Bangladesh.

In addition to support, coordinate and supervise the members of the Waterkeeper Alliance in Bangladesh, it also organizes activities independently to engage local, national and international efforts to protect the global environment.
